Current Projects

Portland, Oregon

Soren Rasmussen Architects has taken the role as design architect and primary consultant on this 500,000 square feet, $200 million USD project. The project consists of four 10-storey residential towers located on a prime riverfront site in Portland’s Pearl District.

The design concept embraces water as a theme that links the development with the river. Each tower is set into the project’s 3 acre,  landscape-designed water feature that interacts with Portland City’s riverfront greenway pedestrian path system.

The office has worked closely with the City of Portland to create a design concept that is site responsive as well as addressing broader urban issues of the sites context. Each building uses a concept of tapering collective forms to maximize pedestrian level view corridors whilst also affording optimal sightlines for the buildings occupants.
