Post Hotel

Lake Louise, Alberta

Located in Banff National Park, the renovation and addition to this historic turn-of-the-century hotel blended the old and new architecture, maintaining the historical integrity of this very well known hotel. The renovation work included the pool and spa facilities, and the addition included new staff accommodations.

Emily Carr University - Intersections Digital Studio, Vancouver, BC

This $3 million, 6300sf, state-of-the-art new media facility provides advanced research facilities for mixed media, visualization tools, digital imaging, and interactive, mediated physical and virtual spaces.

Waterfront Pearl

Portland, Oregon

This phased project consists of four 10-storey residential towers located on a prime riverfront site in Portland’s Pearl District. The office took on the role as design architect and primary consultant on this 500,000 square feet, $200 million USD multi-residential project.

Steamworks Transcontinental Restaurant

Vancouver, BC

Located in Waterfront Station, originally the 1920 CPR Pacific terminus, this $3.5 million, 8000SF project involved the restoration of the original station waiting room into a new 20-foot high dining space. In the style of fine station restaurants, the restaurant features a lounge, 2 bars, a mezzanine accessed by curved staircases.

Vancouver Film Studios, Vancouver, BC

Services included master planning and full architectural services in the the creation of a new film studio complex in a secure compound. This 23-acre development has now evolved to include 13 sound stages, ancillary production facilities, and a helipad.

Canada Line Connector at Waterfront Station

This project involved the construction of a rapid transit passenger connector through an historic transportation hub. Work within this building was subject to heritage restrictions, and the structural limitations of a 100-year old building.

Langley Gardens Retirement Facility

Phase 1 & 2

Phase 1 is a four-storey, 125,000 s.f. development, and Phase 2 is a 3-storey, 90,000 s.f. ‘annex’ to the first phase. The development fulfills the function of aging in place, where the different levels of care are integrated in ‘clusters’ within one facility.

Private Residence

This residential project involved an extensive renovation of the existing 8000 s.f. house and the addition of 4000 s.f. of new construction.
